How to open a 3D model in ArtCAM 2009, 2008, 2007, 9, 8, 7?

Hello, dear customers!

In this article, we will explain how to open an .STL model purchased from our online store in ArtCAM 2009, 2008, 2007, 9, 8, 7, and earlier versions.

If you are unable to watch the video tutorial, we recommend following the instructions below:

Step 1: Open ArtCAM and create a new model: "File" » "New". We recommend setting the resolution to the maximum value. Click "OK".

Step 2: Go to the "3D" tab, then open "File" » "Import" » "3D Model".

Step 3: In the window that opens, select the purchased *.STL model and click "Open".
Step 4: Specify the required model size and position settings in the window that opens, then click "Paste".

Done! The purchased 3D model in STL format is now open and ready for machining on a CNC machine.
